A message from Jenni to Building Bridges

September - October 2025

It has been a fabulous week for #impactinvesting and #sustainable #finance in Switzerland, anchored by Building Bridges. What a great conference, full of substance, connection, and real dialogue on how we can collectively move the needle on the #SDGs, #climate, #ESG, #gender, #diversity, #carbon #markets and so much more.

My sincerest thanks to Chemonics UK, Tara Sabre Collier, Nathalie BOUCHAIB GAROLLE, Max Rebuck and the Triple Effect team for inviting me to speak at their side event - "Building Bridges - Gender Lens Investing in Africa", alongside Adesuwa Okunbo Rhodes, Pauline Koelbl and Rosalind Tan and Jerome Savelli from FMO - Dutch entrepreneurial development bank. A great conversation on the importance of supporting women-led and benefitting businesses to drive economic growth and sustainable development across Africa. These businesses represent an underexplored investment opportunity, currently accessing less than 3% of commercial capital. This needs to change!
