We are pleased to announce that Altree Capital has been selected as one of the latest recipients of the Climate Gender Equity Fund (CGEF) grant!
This public-private partnership, led by USAID in collaboration with Amazon, Reckitt, Skoll Foundation, The UPS Foundation and Visa Foundation, seeks to expand access to climate finance for women-led and women-benefiting businesses that are driving meaningful climate solutions.
The Altree team is excited to be part of this transformative initiative and we are looking forwardto putting the grant funding to work through our Altree Kadzi Gender Climate Fund. Our mission is to support women-led climate enterprises across Sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on climate-smart strategies, women’s health and advancing gender equity.
With this support, we will continue strengthening our pipeline of impactful businesses, developing climate-smart toolkits and enhancing climate reporting for portfolio companies. We are deeply grateful to USAID and all the CGEF partners for their commitment to empowering women and addressing climate challenges together.
A big thank you to 2X Global for managing this critical initiative and to all the partners who have made this possible.
If you would like to join our journey, please get in touch with us. Together, we are building a more inclusive, equitable and climate-resilient future!
