Our Impact

We ensure sustainable, measurable benefits to partners and communities through our investments. Our alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is central to our impact outcomes. Our two primary SDGs are SDG5: Gender equality and SDG13: Climate action. Climate-focused women-led businesses are critical drivers of SDG achievement, combining “gender equality” and “climate action” drives nearly all other SDGs, such as ending hunger and ensuring good health and well-being.

Impact measurement is central to our investment thesis and Altree Capital complies with internationally recognized standards on impact measurement throughout the investment lifecycle. We employ metrics based largely on IRIS and the 2X Challenge indictors, to ensure we accurately measure, monitor and evaluate the impact created.
