We have established a proven track record of investment excellence on both an absolute and risk-adjusted basis. Since June 2006 inception, our flagship Africa Opportunities Fund has successfully outperformed the MSCI World and MSCI EFM Africa ex-South Africa Indices by more than 4,900 and 5,200 basis points respectively. On an absolute basis, the Fund exhibits the highest average annual performance of its peers and is the best performing Africa fund over a five-year, one-year and six-month basis through 31 December 2011. On a risk-adjusted basis, the Fund has the highest Sharpe Ratio amongst its requisite peer group according to data provided by Bloomberg LLP.
